The Cavern Restaurant located opposite The Cavern Club on Liverpool’s vibrant Mathew Street reveals its re-brand this November
The restaurant previously opened in 2018 in partnership with Brazilian Restaurant chain Bem Brasil under the name ‘Festival Food & Drink’. Now, the renamed ‘Cavern Restaurant’ opens its sparkling new doors with a fresh menu and new Cavern Club themed décor further enhancing the Cavern experience for customers on the world-famous street.
Head Chef Paul Davies and Restaurant Manager Marcos Magalhaes lead their team of dedicated staff to provide a quality family-friendly dining experience for local, national, and international customers alike.
Paul Davies who is known for his culinary innovative flare to great acclaim having previously run his own restaurant ‘Paul’s Place’ in South Liverpool, says:
“I’m really excited about opening our new doors to our customers. I feel that the restaurant has really found its identity which resonates with Cavern fans from Liverpool and around the world. The new menu focuses on expertly cooked great tasting food including a popular local dish ‘Scouse.’ We pride ourselves in using the best fresh quality produce and sourcing as much as we can locally. Our customers are going to really enjoy it.”
Since 2018 the restaurant has been voted the number 1 restaurant in Liverpool according to TripAdvisor and continues to achieve 5* reviews praising the establishment for its quality food, excellent service, and friendly atmosphere.
Restaurant Manager Marcos Magalhaes says:
“The Cavern Restaurant is a powerful addition to The Cavern brand. We provide a quality dining experience in the beating heart of Liverpool’s live music scene of which The Cavern Club and Cavern Pub are an integral part of. The new Cavern themed décor and branding works in synergy with the Cavern’s live music venues and tours. The restaurant offers the perfect people watching spot directly opposite The Cavern Club surrounded by images of the many iconic artists to have graced the world-famous stage – what could be better than that?”
As well as sampling great food, a wide range of cocktails, customers will also be able to purchase official Cavern merchandise at the Restaurant and, as a bonus, passengers taking the Beatles sight-seeing Magical Mystery Tour can enjoy 15% discount on food.
The Cavern Restaurant is currently open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm for lunch and dinner. Take a look at our menu and the new Christmas menu. Click here to make your booking to complete your visit to Mathew Street.
